The National Environmental Agency announced Monday that the water quality of the Black Sea along Georgia’s entire coastline remains within normal limits.

The agency conducts regular monthly monitoring at 12 designated points, assessing hydro-biological and chemical indicators. These include measurements of 13 heavy metals, total petroleum hydrocarbons, 16 polyaromatic hydrocarbons, and various other physical and chemical parameters.

In line with the EU Marine Strategy Framework Directive, the agency continues to enhance its monitoring system. All laboratory test results are publicly available on the agency’s official website.
