“Strategic partnership with Azerbaijan acquires a significant role per the regional interests, as Georgia is actively involved in the Black Sea submarine electric cable project signed with the European Union,” - said the Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili when reporting to the parliament within Minister’s Hour format.
According to the Foreign Minister Darchiashvili, the project will assign Georgia a new role and function.
“I would like to emphasize the significance of the project, which should add a new role and function to our country when it comes to strengthening the energy security of our country, the region and the European Union,” he said.
