The Batumi International Black Sea Art Festival will open on July 23. Eliso Bolkvadze, the founder of the festival, spoke about the details.
“The topics are diverse; the Georgian and foreign musicians will participate in the festival. This year the festival is being held for charity purposes; the proceeds will be used in full for the Ukrainian children affected by the war,” - Eliso Bolkvadze said.
The Batumi International Black Sea Art Festival is the only cultural event in Georgia that has received the UNESCO patronage. It is thanks to this festival that in 2021 Batumi was included in the list of the UNESCO Creative Cities. The festival is held for the ninth time this year and will last until July 31.
As part of the festival, over the years, more than 60 top-level concerts were held, which the world stage stars took part in.
