The Honorary Chairman of the Georgian Dream party, Bidzina Ivanishvili, has expressed his condolences to Catholics in Georgia and worldwide following the passing of Pope Francis.

“Pope Francis was deeply devoted to spreading peace and kindness. As a symbol of hope, compassion, unity, and peace, he will remain an enduring example for millions around the globe,” Ivanishvili said in his message.

“We extend our heartfelt condolences to everyone mourning this great loss,” he added.

Pope Francis passed away at the age of 88, leaving behind a lasting legacy of humility, dialogue, and global outreach.
