“Before Bucha, there was Abkhazia,” - the former US Ambassador to Georgia, Ian Kelly wrote.
"Georgians stand with Ukrainians because they know the brutality of a Russian invasion. Before Bucha, there was Abkhazia," - Kelly wrote on Twitter.
To be informed, today marks 29 years since the fall of Sokhumi. The military conflict in Abkhazia started on August 14, 1992 and lasted for 13 months and 13 days.
