Beeline donates GEL 100,000 to Georgian Red Cross Society in support of Ukrainian Red Cross

"A member of the international group Veon, mobile operator "Veon Georgia" (Brand Beeline) has been supporting and standing by the Ukrainians from the very first day of the war started by Russia in Ukraine. The company gives Beeline users in Ukraine free roaming internet packs. SMS messages and calls to Ukraine from Beeline network are free on both landline and mobile phones. The donation made as a result of a call to the Georgian Red Cross Society’s charity number (16222) from Beeline will be fully transferred to the Red Cross, which, in turn, will help the Ukrainian Red Cross Society. In addition, today, Beeline, on behalf of the company, made a donation of 100,000 GEL to the Georgian Red Cross Society for the Ukrainian Red Cross. Personally Beeline employees purchased and sent humanitarian aid to the Polish border for refugees coming from Ukraine.

In these difficult times, our company's obligation is to stand by the people of our neighbor and friend Ukraine and help in any way we can. First of all, it concerns the provision of our services to those who need it most, and secondly, the provision of humanitarian, including financial, assistance to them. Unfortunately, the war only increases the number of Ukrainians who need support through food, shelter and medical care, so each donation is of great importance today. We have always been and will always be by Ukraine's side and we wish the war to end soon," - Beeline said.
