
The Georgian coastal city of Batumi has been shortlisted for the title of Europe’s Leading All-Season Destination at the World Travel Awards, one of the most prestigious honors in the global tourism industry.
The European Gala Ceremony takes place today in Italy, with Sulkhan Tamazashvili, Chairman of the Government of Adjara, attending alongside members of the Georgian delegation.
Batumi is competing against prominent European cities such as Budapest, Geneva, Munich, Salzburg, and Stockholm, highlighting its growing reputation as a year-round travel destination.
