
Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeyhun Bayramov, is paying an official visit to Georgia, the Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced.
On July 22, Bayramov will meet with his Georgian counterpart, Maka Botchorishvili, to discuss bilateral relations and regional cooperation.
During his visit, Bayramov is also scheduled to hold meetings with key Georgian officials, including President Mikheil Kavelashvili, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, and Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili.
As part of the official program, he will lay a wreath at the Memorial to the Heroes Who Died for the Unity of Georgia and pay tribute at the monument of Azerbaijan’s national leader, Heydar Aliyev.
In parallel, a new round of political consultations between the foreign ministries of Georgia and Azerbaijan is taking place in Tbilisi on July 21, at the deputy minister level.
