The mentioned data have been considered to be the highest since 2014. That is, after the specific data given on the external trade portal of the Georgian National Statistics Office (GEOSTAT) have become available.
The list of the top 10 countries, where the most of the light vehicles were re-exported from Georgia in 2022, is as follows:
Azerbaijan - $141.6 million (14,994 units)
Ukraine - $71.7 million (7 473 units)
Armenia - $41.7 million (4 414 units)
Kazakhstan - $31.7 million (3 489 units)
Russia - $26.8 million (2,005 units)
Kyrgyzstan - $20.6 million (3 307 units)
Belgium - $18.4 million (382 units)
The United Arab Emirates - $5,773 thousand (76 units)
Tajikistan - $5,075 thousand (867 units)
Belarus - $2,864 thousand (88 units)
It should be noted that compared to last year, the volume of re-exports from Georgia to Ukraine have increased. In 8 months of 2021, 6,703 light vehicles worth of GEL 46,012 million were re-exported to Ukraine.
