“Azerbaijan intends to supply 157 GW of electricity to international markets through Georgia,” - President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, who paid a visit to Georgia, stated.
"10 GW is our renewable energy capacity, and we have the ability to export 157 GW through the Caspian Sea. This is the figure set by international calculations and projections. We believe that there will be a new target for energy exports and, as in other directions, we believe that Georgia and Azerbaijan will work successfully together in this direction as well, and in general the potential of our cooperation, prosperity, the potential of energy corridors will increase," - Aliyev said at a news conference after the meeting with the Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili.
