According to official statistics, the main export commodity in Switzerland in two months was unrefined and semi-refined gold. In Switzerland, Georgia also sold 40 tons of nuts and walnuts worth $318,000, 1 ton of cosmetics worth $192,000, and measuring and control tools worth $99,000. It should be noted that locally produced grape wines, which are the main export goods of the country, are sold in very small quantities to Switzerland. This year, 1 ton of wine worth $16 thousand was sold.

In January-February 2024, the import from Switzerland also increased and Georgia purchased goods worth GEL 27 million 499, which is an annual 14.6%-increase. The largest group of goods that Georgia purchased from Switzerland during this period are vaccines, blood and immune products, the import value of which amounted to $13 million 855 thousand. Another commodity is packaged medicinal products, the value of which amounted to $5 million 532 thousand.
