According to the preliminary data published by the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GEOSTAT), in September 2023, compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, the growth of Georgia’s real gross domestic product (GDP) amounted to 5.1%, and the average rate of the first 9 months of 2023 was determined by 6.8%.
In September 2023, compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, financial and insurance activities, construction, trade, hotels and restaurants made a significant contribution to economic growth.
At the same time, the manufacturing industry, transport and warehousing, as well as real estate sectors were characterized by a downward trend.
