“External Merchandise Trade (excluding non-declared trade) of Georgia amounted to USD 3 866.8 million in January-March 2022, 38.0 percent higher year-on-year,” - the National Statistics Office of Georgia reported on Wednesday.
“It continued that the value of export increased by 43.3% reaching USD 1 171.8 million, while the import increased by 35.8% and amounted to $2 695.0 million. The trade deficit equaled $1 523.2 million and its share in trade turnover constituted 39.4%,” - the National Statistics Office stated.
