According to the National Tourism Administration, the number of tourist arrivals increased especially in February. In the second month of 2022, 137,148 international tourists visited Georgia, the recovery rate for the tourism sector is (+) 55.4% compared to the same period in 2019, while the number of international arrivals has increased by 282% compared to February 2021.

The rapid dynamics of tourism recovery are also reflected in the revenues. The revenues received from international tourism in February 2022 totaled $ 105,218,484, which is a 62.2% recovery from the 2019 figure. The revenues received from international tourism increased by $91,568,460 (+ 670.8%) compared to February 2021.
