
Reportedly, compared to the same period last year, the volume of exported hazelnuts increased by 3.7 thousand tons (28%), while the value increased by 7.2 million USD (10%).
"Georgian hazelnuts are mainly exported to the EU markets - Italy (7,054 tons), Germany (3,140 tons), Spain (478 tons), the Czech Republic (445 tons), Poland (337 tons), Lithuania (305 tons), France (300 tonnes), Bulgaria (132 tonnes), Greece (71 tonnes), Latvia (70 tonnes), Estonia (60 tonnes), Belgium (41 tonnes), Hungary (22 tonnes), Croatia (20 tonnes).
Georgian hazelnuts are exported to: Armenia (1,198 tons), China (780 tons), Ukraine (301 tons), Russia (358 tons), Saudi Arabia (276 tons), Belarus (251 tons), Algeria (241 tons), Iraq (168 tons), Switzerland (151 tons), Mexico (120 tons), Canada (120 tons), Argentina (91 tons), Azerbaijan (82 tons), the United Arab Emirates (75 tons), Turkey (68), Kazakhstan ( 45 tons), Uzbekistan (44 tons), Tunisia (27 tons), the United Kingdom (22 tons), Kyrgyzstan (22 tons), Jordan (14 tons),” - the Ministry states.
