Eggs were imported from five countries of the world, namely from:

• Turkey - 1,725 ​​million units (551.2 thousand dollars);
• Hungary - 1,186 million units (363.7 thousand dollars);
• Bulgaria - 301.6 thousand units (108.2 thousand dollars);
• Russia - 190 thousand units (34.5 thousand dollars);
• France - 1.4 thousand units (3.93 thousand dollars). 

As for exports, this year eggs from Georgia were sold to Azerbaijan and Armenia. In particular, 923.1 thousand units ($ 369.4 thousand) were exported to Armenia and 192.9 thousand units ($ 48.2 thousand) to Azerbaijan. Totally, in January-March 2022, 1,116 million units of eggs worth $ 417.6 thousand were exported from Georgia abroad.
