A protest rally against the draft law “On Transparency of Foreign Influence” is underway at the Parliament.

The demonstrators say they are staying there overnight as tomorrow Legal Affair Committee will discuss the law in the third reading and they plan “to prevent the hearing from taking place.”

The protesters demand the government withdraw the draft law as it “will hinder the development of the country and its European integration process.”

Leaders of opposition political parties are also present at the rally.

At the moment, the roadway on Rustaveli Avenue is blocked.
