Zuri Mushukia's family lives in Zugdidi, in the settlement of displaced persons. According to the family, the fighter had been in Ukraine since 2014 and served in one of the battalions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 
According to the reports, the fighter was mortally wounded during a military explosion in Bogdanovka and could not be saved. Zuri Mushukia participated in the war in Abkhazia.
