Another Georgian fighter died near Bakhmut in Ukraine. As the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported, the Embassy of Georgia in Ukraine has been informed about the death of a Georgian citizen and relevant procedures will be carried out.
According to the information of Georgians fighting in Ukraine, the deceased served in the foreign legion. They also note that one more fighter was wounded.
After the large-scale invasion of Russia on February 24, 2022, a total of 44 Georgian fighters have died in Ukraine.
