“Another airline, Getjet, will resume flights from the Baltic states to Georgia. Lithuanian airline Getjet will operate multiple charter flights from Vilnius and Tallinn to Batumi,” - the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia reports.
According to Mariam Kvrivishvili, the Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, “the Baltic countries are one of the important tourist markets for Georgia, and the government is helping to bring more visitors from the Baltic countries to our country.”
"We are actively working to increase the awareness of Georgia as a tourist destination in the Baltic states. An increase in the number of direct flights to the main cities of the region will provide more visitors to Georgia, which is important for our tourism sector. Having more direct links with the EU countries is one of our priorities," - Mariam Kvrivishvili said.
Flights between Vilnius and Batumi from August 1 through August 29, and between Tallinn and Batumi from August 15 through August 29, will be performed every Monday.
