The export volume of the Georgian cheese and cottage cheese decreased in January-June. In the first six months of last year, 31.8 tons of locally produced products were exported, from which the revenues amounted to $375.8 thousand. In the current year, the earnings have decreased to $214.4 thousand, and 17.5 tons of cheese and cottage cheese have been exported.

In the first half of the current year, the Georgian cheese and cottage cheese were exported to America, the United Arab Emirates, Canada and Hong Kong.

It is also worth noting that the largest amount of the Georgian cheese and cottage cheese has been exported to America this year. More specifically, almost 14 tons of products worth $157.4 thousand were exported to the USA.

The United Arab Emirates - $38.72 thousand, 2.5 tons;

Canada - 16.36 thousand, 0.91 tons;

Hong Kong - 1.95 thousand, $0.13 tons.
