The live auction has concluded, with the first collectible euro banknote from Georgia, featuring a special serial number, being sold for €3,500. This information was provided by the TRESURIUM company.
The live auction was conducted by Crown Currency Auction, an auction house located in the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
The announcement states, "Details regarding the availability and pricing of the banknote will be disclosed soon. If you are not yet on the waiting list, contact us to become one of the first owners of Georgia's first collectible euro banknote."
As previously reported by the Georgian Calligraphers' Association, the first collectible euro banknote of Georgia was printed in Maastricht, Netherlands, the birthplace of the euro.

As the statement reads, this limited-edition release, consisting of just 5000 pieces, was developed and financed by the TRESURIUM company with the approval of the European Central Bank. The team of the leading designers and specialists from around the world dedicated six months to the creation of the aforementioned collectible banknote.
The collectible banknote is rich in symbolic Georgian elements and embodies a centuries-old, rich cultural and historical heritage.
The first Georgian collectible euro 8000 banknote features significant symbols of Georgia's historical and cultural heritage. These include the David Gareji Monastery, the Alaverdi Monastery - the historical 11th-century cellar of which was restored by the Badagoni Wine Company - and the iconic symbols of the Georgian winemaking, such as the traditional qvevri [pitcher], alongside the Georgian calligraphy.

TREASURIUM organized a Georgian wine tasting and presentation at a historic site in Europe. Additionally, in the presence of both Georgian and Dutch delegations, TREASURIUM officially unveiled the Georgian collectible euro 8000 banknote.
The banknote features depictions of qvevris and includes the inscriptions "Shen Khar Venakhi" and "Georgia – Motherland of Wine."
