Starting May 27, Air Astana will begin operating three weekly flights between Atyrau and Tbilisi.
Deputy Economy Minister Mariam Kvrivishvili highlighted that the new route reflects the growing demand from Kazakh tourists for Georgia. In 2024, nearly 179,000 visitors from Kazakhstan traveled to Georgia.
Air Astana will also offer nine weekly flights from Almaty to Tbilisi this summer, with seasonal flights resuming between Almaty and Batumi in June, and between Tbilisi and Astana in June as well. Low-cost carrier FlyArystan will increase its flights from Kazakhstan to Kutaisi during the summer season.
Tickets for the Atyrau-Tbilisi route are available on Air Astana’s website.
