
An agreement on fiscal resilience and social protection support program was signed between Georgia and the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
As the Ministry of Finance of Georgia reported, the document was signed by the Minister of Finance of Georgia, Lasha Khutsishvili, and the Regional Director of the Asian Development Bank in Georgia, Shane Rosenthal.
The agreement envisages the allocation of financial resources in the amount of 100,190,000 euros by the Asian Development Bank for the implementation of the fiscal resilience and social protection program, the purpose of which is to promote sustainable and inclusive economic growth of the country.
Before the signing, the parties shared a vision of the situation in the country amid the current challenges. The parties once again emphasized the importance of utilising Georgia's transit potential and strengthening energy security.
