According to Irakli Gharibashvili, despite the current circumstances in the region, the ongoing war in Ukraine and the tension and recession worldwide, the total volume of direct foreign investments in Georgia amounted to $1.675 billion.  

"This is a directly doubled rate. If we compare this figure with the indicator of the previous year and the period before the Covid-19 pandemic, the volume of foreign direct investments has increased by 70%. This indicates that investors properly consider the situation in the country. First of all, it is due to the stability, stability and transparency that we have created in the country. Georgia ranks first in the world in terms of budget transparency", - Gharibashvili stated.
