The Georgian National Tourism Administration along with 52 companies participated in the ATM Dubai 2023 in Dubai.
Within the framework of the exhibition, tour operators and hotel representatives held talks with international companies about further cooperation.
As a result of the meetings, joint tours were planned. During the summer season, the Middle Eastern tourist companies were interested in the sea, mountain, spa and wellness resorts of Georgia, as well as concerts and festivals planned in Georgia.
"Within the framework of the exhibition, we met with future partners; we made plans together with them. We expect an increase in the number of visitors to Georgia. This exhibition is very important for the private sector and we have high hopes,” - Tamar Chkhikvadze, a representative of Tripzy travel agency, said.
Together with the National Tourism Administration of Georgia, Adjara Tourism and Resorts Department, the Imereti Destination Management Organization and the Tbilisi City Hall also participated in the ATM Dubai 2023 exhibition.
More than 2,000 companies from over 150 countries participated in the Dubai International Tourism Exhibition this year. The exhibition had more than 34 thousand visitors.
