
Yingming Yang, Vice President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), will take part in the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum, scheduled for October 22–23 under the patronage of the Prime Minister of Georgia. The announcement was made by Georgia’s Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development.
Yingming Yang will speak during the panel discussion titled “The Middle Corridor: From Reliability to Efficiency”, contributing insights on regional connectivity and infrastructure development.
Appointed as ADB Vice President on January 15, 2024, Yingming Yang previously held senior roles in China’s Ministry of Finance, where he was responsible for international economic relations.
The ADB has been a key partner of the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum since its inception, actively supporting its mission to foster regional economic integration.
Marking its fifth anniversary, this year’s forum will bring together around 2,000 delegates, including policymakers, business leaders, and international experts. The event aims to encourage cross-sector collaboration, sharing of best practices, and direct dialogue between government representatives and the private sector.
