As the Ministry of Finance of Georgia reports, the President of the Asian Development Bank Masatsugu Asakawa visited Tbilisi along with his spouse in order to participate in the 57th annual meeting of the Asian Development Bank.
The high-ranking guest was met by the Deputy Minister of Finance of Georgia, Ekaterine Guntsadze. During the short meeting, the parties discussed the issues of bilateral cooperation and the importance of holding the Bank's annual meeting in Georgia.
In addition to the official events planned as part of the ADB Annual Meeting, the President of the Asian Development Bank will meet with the Georgian officials.
Georgia will host the 57th annual meeting of the Asian Development Bank from May 2 to May 5.
As part of the annual meetings, up to 70 events will be held, within which guests of various ranks will have the opportunity to discuss the economic development trends and the role of international financial institutions in achieving economic development goals, including the role of climate change and other global crisis challenges.
