
The cost of living index for the first half of 2022 was published on the Numbeo research portal. Georgia is in the seventh place among the top ten countries with the lowest prices.
The cost of living index is calculated by taking into account the price level of the main types of goods and services, including food products, restaurants, transportation and utilities. Georgia is followed by such countries as: Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, India, Kyrgyzstan, Libya, Pakistan. Georgia ranks 132nd among 138 countries with an index of 28.5.
