As the government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia reported, the festival started on January 20 in Asir province of Saudi Arabia, and 14 international and 16 local ensembles participated in it.
Under the leadership of Bachana Chanturia, Abkhazeti, including 15 dancers, performed before the audience.
The Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia Ruslan Abashidze and the Ambassador of Georgia to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Vakhtang Jaoshvili attended the performance of Georgian artists.
It should be noted that the Abkhazian State Academic Song and Dance Ensemble Abkhazia has made a great contribution to the development and popularization of the Georgian-Abkhazian culture.
The ensemble took part in the event with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, the Embassies of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
