According to the Fund, the total investment of the project today exceeds 27 million US dollars, while at the beginning of the project its cost was 22 million dollars.The hotel was scheduled to open in the spring of 2020, though the Tourism Development Fund says opening dates have been adjusted due to the pandemic.

"The 130-room hotel will house spa and fitness centers, an outdoor and outdoor pool, a wine bar, a cellar, a high-class restaurant, a lounge bar with a 360-degree view and a large conference hall. The hotel will be located on a 50,000 sq/m land plot,” - the Georgian Tourism Development Fund said.

To be informed, a Georgian billionaire businessman and philanthropist, Bidzina Ivanishvili, handed over the Tourism Development Fund and the tourism projects planned by him to the Cartu Foundation in 2020. Prior to that, the portfolio of large investment projects was managed by the Georgian Co-Investment Fund.
