Within the framework of the same survey, to the question: What is the main reason you would support joining the European Union? the answers were distributed as follows:
For the purpose of improving the security situation in the country - 47%;
For the purpose of the economic benefits - 30%;
For the purpose of the development of democracy - 14%;
For the purpose of strengthening of Georgia's European identity - 9%.
The public opinion survey was conducted by Edison Research, an authoritative international research company, by order of Formula TV.
Within the framework of the research, 1000 people aged 18 and over with voting rights living in Georgia were interviewed through a face-to-face survey method.
The margin of error is +/- 3% for a 95% confidence level. Field work was carried out between October 20 and November 6, 2023.
