As for adult citizens of Georgia legally living abroad, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, their number is 61,097. Most of them - 8,398 adult citizens of Georgia are registered with the consular services in the Republic of Greece; 6,837 - in the Republic of Azerbaijan; 5 721 - in Thessaloniki; 4 486 - in New York; 2 487 - in Barcelona and 2 281 in the French Republic.
