
Within 8 months of 2022, 854,734.50 tons of oil and oil products were imported into Georgia. According to the data published by the Georgian National Statistics Office (GEOSTAT), Georgia imported the largest amount of 340,283.89 tons of oil and oil products from Russia, which is about 40% of the total volume. It should be noted that 294,269.74 tons of oil and oil products were imported into Georgia from the EU countries in January-August.
