
The 30th Business Forum, dedicated to the 35th anniversary of relations between Georgia, Israel, and World Jewry, took place in Tbilisi. The event was organized by the Georgia–Israel Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Israel House.
The forum brought together representatives from Georgia and Israel, city mayors, international organizations, and around 100 business leaders from both countries. Participants reviewed the progress of bilateral economic and business relations and discussed prospects for future cooperation, particularly in the tourism sector. New tourism projects was also presented.
Special focus was placed on the Biblical Route of Jewish Cultural Heritage, a project implemented under the auspices of the Council of Europe that begins in Georgia.
The opening ceremony included the lighting of the Hanukkah candle in celebration of the Jewish holiday.
The forum’s agenda features panel discussions and workshops covering a wide range of topics related to trade, investment, and tourism.
According to Itsik Moshe, Head of the Georgia–Israel Chamber of Commerce and founder of Israel House, the forum both reflects 35 years of successful cooperation and lays the groundwork for future joint initiatives.
As part of the visit, Israeli delegates also held meetings and tour tourism facilities in Georgia that were established with Israeli investment.
The business forum was hosted at the Paragraph Hotel in Tbilisi.
