30 Ukrainian guests arrived in Georgia from Bucha, Irpin, Odessa and other war-torn cities of Ukraine. Most of them are children, some of them lost their parents in the war, on the battlefield.
The guests will be hosted by Beka Odisharia, the Chairman of the Committee on Diaspora and Caucasus Issues Committee of the Parliament of Georgia. Ukrainian children traveled to Batumi, and the next stop is Mtskheta, where they will get acquainted with the sights of the historical city.
On Thursday, an official reception will be held in the Parliament of Georgia and the guests will be met by the Chairman of the legislative body and MPs; with the support of the Tbilisi City Hall, they will visit the Theater of Young Spectators, the Botanical Garden and the Mtatsminda Park.
Ukrainian guests will also take part in the Erekleoba event [the event is celebrating a Georgian King Erekle II borthday] planned in Telavi, which will be held on November 7.
