292 new hotels are scheduled to be built in Georgia in 2023-25. As the National Tourism Administration of Georgia reports, the largest number of accommodation facilities will be commissioned in Tbilisi. In total, 65 hotels are planned to be built in the capital. 47 accommodation facilities will be added to Samtskhe-Javakheti, and 46 to Adjara.
As for the regions where the construction of the fewest hotels is planned, Racha-Lechkhumi ranks 1st, where at this stage only 5 accommodation facilities are scheduled, and 6 - in Shida Kartli.
According to preliminary calculations, in total, the number of rooms will be up to 17,000.
