
The National Tourism Administration of Georgia publishes the statistical data of international travelers for the month of January-June. In the first and second quarters, 2,860,117 international travelers visited Georgia, which is a 74% recovery of the pre-pandemic data. Compared to the same period of 2022, the increase is 75.9%.
In 6 months, 1,930,483 international tourist visits took place in the country, which is a 90.8% recovery of the data of 2019, and compared to 2022, the increase is 59.6%.
As of the II quarter of 2023, 1,651,655 international travelers visited Georgia, which is a 73.6% recovery of the pre-pandemic data, and compared to 2022, the increase is 57.4%.
In the period of April-June 2023, 1,085,151 international tourist visits took place in Georgia, which is 87.2% recovery of the data of 2019, and compared to 2022, the increase is 44.8%.
The number of international travelers and international tourist visits is calculated according to the methodology developed based on the recommendation of the World Tourism Organization and includes already made and completed visits.
