
“In October, 2022, 498,477 international travelers visited Georgia. Of these, the number of non-tourist visits was 55,874, and the number of visits made by international visitors totaled 442,603,” - the National Tourism Administration of Georgia reports.
It should be noted that according to the National Tourism Administration, the number of international travelers’ visits in October, 2022, compared to the same period of 2021 increased by 125.9%, compared to October 2020 - by 858.3%, and it is 36.3% lower than the figure of October 2019 before the pandemic.
According to the visits made by international visitors in October 2022, the list of the top 15 countries is as follows:
Russia - 109,158 visitors;
Turkey - 81,033 visitors;
Armenia - 72,877 visitors;
Georgia (non-resident) – 28,305 visitors;

- Ukraine - 15,133 visitors;
- Azerbaijan - 13,719 visitors;
- Kazakhstan - 9,461 visitors;
- Belarus - 9,066 visitors;
- Iran - 8,012 visitors;
- Germany - 5,679 visitors;
- Poland - 5,269 visitors;
- Saudi Arabia - 5,004 visitors;
- Thailand - 4,474 visitors;
- India - 4,219 visitors.
