In the first half of 2023, Azerbaijan's Sangachal Terminal exported more than 115 million barrels of oil and condensate.
According to BP data, 114 million barrels of oil and condensate were exported through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline and about 1 million barrels through the Baku-Supsa pipeline.
At the Sangachal Terminal, oil and gas extracted from Azerbaijan's ACG and Shah Deniz fields will be transported through undersea pipelines.
The terminal is currently capable of processing 1.2 million barrels of crude oil and condensate per day and approximately 81 million standard cubic meters of gas from the Shah Deniz field. However, in total, the terminal's gas processing and export capacity, together with ACG's associated gas, is approximately 100 million standard cubic meters per day.
As for gas export, it was carried out through the South Caucasus Pipeline, the South Caucasus Pipeline Expansion System, and Azerbaijan Gas Pipelines, which connect the gas processing facilities of the Sangachal Terminal with the national distribution system of "Azerigaz".
During the first half of 2023, an average of more than 72 million standard cubic meters (about 2,542 million standard cubic meters) of Shah Deniz gas was exported from the Sangachal Terminal per day.
It is clear from BP's activity report that during the first half of 2023, within the framework of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline operation, the operational expenditure was more than 59 million US dollars, and the capital expenditure was more than 18 million US dollars.
