
The export volume of mandarins during this period increased by 49%, while the value of exports increased by 53% compared to the same period in 2020.
In 2021, the mandarins produced were exported to Russia (15,447 tons), Armenia (4,225 tons), Ukraine (2,160 tons), Moldova (342 tons), Kazakhstan (182 tons), Slovenia (172 tons), Kyrgyzstan (80 tons), Belarus (80 tons) and other countries (140 tons).
At the same time, from August 1 through December 12, 2021, 16.1 thousand tons of hazelnuts were exported from Georgia, the value of which amounted to 73.8 million US dollars.
Compared to the same period last year, the volume of exported hazelnuts increased by 4.0 thousand tons (33%), while the value increased by 8.9 million USD (14%).
The Georgian hazelnuts are mainly exported to the EU markets - Italy (6,590 tons), Germany (3,124 tons), Spain (446 tons), the Czech Republic (445 tons), Poland (337 tons), Lithuania (284 tons), France (278 tons)), Bulgaria (132 tonnes), Greece (71 tonnes), Latvia (70 tonnes), Estonia (60 tonnes), Belgium (41 tonnes), Hungary (22 tonnes), Croatia (20 tonnes).
The Georgian hazelnuts are exported to: Armenia (1,076 tons), China (780 tons), Ukraine (278 tons), Russia (358 tons), Algeria (241 tons), Saudi Arabia (251 tons), Belarus (208 tons), Iraq (168 tons), Switzerland (151 tons), Mexico (120 tons), Canada (95 tons), Azerbaijan (82 tons), Argentina (77 tons), the United Arab Emirates (61 tons), Kazakhstan (45 tons), Turkey ( 44), Uzbekistan (44 tonnes), the United Kingdom (22 tonnes), Kyrgyzstan (22 tonnes), Tunisia (15 tonnes), Jordan (14 tonnes).
