The German MUNDUS VINI is one of the largest and most prestigious international wine competitions, which was founded by the publishing house Meininger and was held for the first time in 2001 in the city of Neustadt in Germany.
The Badagoni wines won 6 gold medals at the mentioned competition for the first time in the history of the Georgian wine.
The General Director of the Badagoni wine company, Mari Giorgadze, spoke on the air of Radio Sivrce about the success of the Georgian wine and the competition.
"The wines are tasted through Blind Tasting and the members of the competition jury are wine experts, journalists and sommeliers from different countries of the world. It is very important to win this competition, because all wine-producing countries participate in such prestigious competitions all over the world. All this once again emphasizes the quality of our wine and increases its awareness," - Mari Giorgadze said.
As the General Director of the Badagoni wine company stated, this success is important not only of the progress of the company, but also increasing the awareness of Georgia and Georgian wine.

Thousands of types of wines presented at the 34th competition were evaluated by experts invited from 40 countries of the world using the Blind Tasting method.
These wines are: Mukuzani 2021, Maestro Saperavi 2022, Saperavi Reserve 2010, Alaverdi Tradition Dry Red 2020, Saperavi Kosher 2018, Saperavi Qvevri 2021.

Traditionally, the competition is held twice a year: in spring and summer.
It should be noted that last year, 7568 wines participated in the same competition, where the Badagoni wine Kisi Qvevri won the gold medal.
