
Georgian State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality, Tea Akhvlediani, met with Christoph Späti, the OSCE Special Representative for the South Caucasus, to discuss ongoing efforts in peaceful conflict resolution and regional stability.
Minister Akhvlediani underscored the OSCE’s critical role in facilitating peace and expressed appreciation for the organization's continued support of Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders. Both parties reaffirmed the importance of the Geneva International Discussions (GID) and the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM) as essential platforms for dialogue.
The State Minister also shared her strategic vision for improving the socio-economic conditions of conflict-affected populations, emphasizing trust-building through cooperation, shared interests, and dialogue between divided communities. The meeting concluded with a mutual commitment to strengthen collaboration in pursuit of lasting peace and reconciliation.
