The international publication - BBC World Service - published a photo of Giorgi Salakaia's family, the founder of the Badagoni company. This emotional photo was shared from the album depicting the moment, when [on March 26] the Georgian National Football Team knocked out Greece to qualify for their first-ever Euros.

The photo published by BBC World Service says: “Players of Georgia celebrate qualification to the UEFA EURO 2024 with teammates on a stage after the UEFA EURO 2024 Play-Offs final match between Georgia and Greece at Rose Revolution Square on March 26, 2024 in Tbilisi, Georgia”.

To be informed, the elder daughter, Salome Salakaia, is the first female Georgian winemaker, who has been recently awarded the degree of Doctor of Winemaking and Viticulture and the title of Master of Wine at the University of Turin.

History is made - the Georgian National Football Team is competing in the 2024 UEFA Euro Cup for the first time in Germany. The first match of Group F of Euro 2024 between the teams of Turkey and Georgia took place on June 18. The next matches will be held on June 22 and 26.
