From 12 to 14 February, 2024, Paris hosted the 5th annual exhibition of wine and spirits professionals Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris, where the Badagoni wine company also participated.

As a representative of Badagoni winery, oenologist and consultant in viticulture issues, Salome Salakaia, told Spnews, the Badagoni wines aroused great interest and admiration of the guests and the media, when presented at the exhibition.

“French, Swiss, Greek, South Korean, Uzbek, Japanese, etc. visitors, with great curiosity, were getting acquainted with and tasting the Badagoni wines made by both Kvevri [earthenware vessels] and European technology. Journalists and Cordon Bleu University students, potential wine professionals, also expressed their interest towards the wines. They wanted to learn more about Georgia and the Georgian wine production," - Salome Salakaia said.
As per Salome Salakaia, it should be noted that the exhibition visitors paid attention to the high quality of the Badagoni wines.
"Traditionally, the Badagoni Kvevri wines were the object of admiration, however, wine experts were surprised by the Badagoni wine made by the European techniques. They emphasized the wine quality and the fact that despite the large volume of production, the high quality of wine is preserved in each bottle of Badagoni,” - Salome Salakaia stated.

Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris brings together winemakers and wine companies from the wine producing regions of France, as well as all the wine producing countries worldwide.
