The session is scheduled for 11:00.

As Mikheil Saakashvili's mother Giuli Alasania said yesterday after visiting Mikheil Saakashvili, the ex-president is ready to participate in the court session.

"My opinion is that his health does not allow him to do that. I don't know, the opinion of the doctors will be decisive", Alasania told reporters.

To be informed, Mikheil Saakashvili's lawyers applied to the court for the postponement of the sentence or the release of the former president of Georgia a few weeks ago. Judge Giorgi Arevadze is considering the motion.
