Anri Okhanashvili, the newly appointed Head of the State Security Service of Georgia, held an introductory meeting with Alexander Tiguy, the Legal Attaché of the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in Georgia.

According to the agency, the discussion focused on the strong and ongoing cooperation between the State Security Service and the FBI. Both sides emphasized the importance of the U.S.–Georgia partnership in the fields of law enforcement and security and explored avenues for further collaboration.

Alexander Tiguy congratulated Okhanashvili on his recent appointment and wished him success in his new role.
