“We remain hopeful that Europe will ultimately succeed in restoring its sovereignty and getting back on track, an outcome that is of vital importance to our country,” Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists.
The Prime Minister observed that the political ratings of Alternative for Germany (AfD) continue to climb year on year, posing a substantial challenge to the incumbent governing coalition ahead of the upcoming parliamentary elections.
“Furthermore, we are all aware of the primary driver behind the events that unfolded, first and foremost, in Ukraine. The primary objective is to weaken Europe. The principal aim of the Deep State is to weaken Europe, and this is the tangible outcome of what has transpired in our region, which is deeply regrettable.
We care deeply about Europe and the European Union, which is why we are highly concerned by the ongoing political and economic developments across the continent. We hope that Europe will ultimately succeed in reclaiming its sovereignty and getting back on the right track, which is vital for our country. We have traditionally been part of the European cultural sphere; therefore, a strong Europe is of paramount importance to Georgia,” Irakli Kobakhidze stated.
