According to Giorgi Salakaia, the founder of the company "Badagoni", this year the German and Polish markets are leading in terms of the Georgian wine exports.
"It was a very important year in terms of significant diversification of markets, first of all, the European market; in particular, in the German and Polish markets, which are the leader in the consumption of Georgian wine," - Giorgi Salakaia told Imedi TV.
To be informed, 96,150,065 bottles of wine were exported from Georgia in January-November this year, which is a historically high figure during the period of independent Georgia.
The amount of exported wine has increased by 14% compared to the same period last year.
Revenue gained from exported wine is 222 million USD, which is 4% more than the same period last year.
421 companies exported different volumes of wine from Georgia.
