Prosecutor General of Georgia Giorgi Gvarakidze met with key figures of the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP) in Singapore during the Association’s 30th Annual Conference.

He held talks with IAP Secretary General Roel Dona, Executive Director Janne Holst Hübner, and Chief Legal Advisor Shenaz Muzaffer. The parties discussed future cooperation and reaffirmed the strong and ongoing partnership between Georgia and the IAP.

Georgia has been an organisational member of the IAP since 2011 and has maintained close cooperation since 2014. In 2018, a representative from Georgia's Prosecutor's Office was elected to the IAP Executive Committee, granting Georgia a leadership role within the global body that now includes over 183 agencies from 180 countries.
